Allermuir Opens New Flagship Showroom in Chicago’s Fulton Market
Designed by Partners by Design, the four-story space introduces Allermuir’s new design direction while showcasing its latest product collections in an immersive setting.
CHICAGO, IL — June 2026 — Allermuir opens a new flagship showroom at 1032 W Fulton Market, designed by Partners by Design, a space that captures the flourishing energy of the neighborhood while showcasing the brand’s new design direction. Throughout the 4-story space, a fresh perspective emerges, blending nostalgia with a modern hand. Contemporary craft and refined details come together, resulting in elevated, high-quality, design-led environments that balance modernity with classic influence.
An immersive journey through the Allermuir brand
An immersive journey unfolds as guests explore each floor, beginning with a vibrant introduction to new collections, continuing with a behind-the-scenes peek into the brand’s artistry alongside Bar Bastille, an energetic social hub, and concluding with Allermuir’s holistic workplace solution and curated vignettes by sister brand Senator. The 21,000-square-foot space is highly engaging, inviting clients to linger and lounge while savoring new products in aspirational settings.
A curated introduction to what’s new
A robust suite of new products ranging from versatile seating to expressive statement pieces headlines the first floor, demonstrating Allermuir’s intentional approach to creating spaces that feel personal, branded, and connected to each client’s identity.
Upon entering the showroom, guests are welcomed with a friendly reception counter and open lounge areas. Long, sculptural configurations of Aura Lounge generate hospitable energy to promote spontaneity and creativity, while new elements to the sofa system are unveiled.
New soft seating introductions like Clo, Pedro, and Tola show how thoughtfully designed products can serve as a blank canvas for a multitude of different visions. These inviting silhouettes offer warmth and softness, allowing upholstery selection to take center stage. The Coro Lounge Chair, designed by Pearson Lloyd, conveys bold architectural presence and quiet confidence, defined by its high back, soft rectangular forms, and segmented cushioning.
Collaboration, craft, and material contrast
The Aldo Collection is prominently displayed along the street-facing windows, marking the brand’s first collaboration with esteemed London-based designer, John Tree. Built on the union of design simplicity and technical precision, Aldo delivers exceptional ergonomic comfort in a timeless everywhere collection. Tubular steel legs finished in a high-gloss powder coat attach seamlessly to rounded wood forms, creating striking material contrast with a calm visual presence.
A relaxing lounge area nestled at the back end of the floor introduces Mallow, a new modular sofa collection designed by SmithMattias, highlighting Allermuir’s exceptional upholstery skill and capabilities. The plush modular form echoes vintage design with its soft quilted layer and rolled-edge detailing, while integrated power and simple linking brackets offer the performance and functionality needed for today’s workplace.
Flexible solutions for the evolving workplace
The Kaya display showcases flexible and intuitive seating solutions designed to support focus and collaboration, creating high-performing workplace environments. Durable plywood shells wrapped in crisp, tailored upholstery provide lightweight ergonomics and remarkable comfort.
Closing out the ground floor is a curated tables display showing the evolution of the Sula Tables Collection. Sula Wood introduces natural material finishes, new sizes, and a cylindrical base shape to the range. This expansion adds depth and sophistication to the family, while maintaining the architectural character of the original collection.
A showroom designed for what comes next
The new Allermuir Chicago showroom exemplifies the brand’s dedication to supporting different spaces, aesthetics, needs, and price points. Workplaces are becoming smaller, more intentional, and more design-driven. Quality, flexibility, and performance are increasingly important. Everything feels cohesive, considered, and distinctly Allermuir.
“Our new Chicago showroom is built around a simple idea: Our House Is Your House. It welcomes clients into a space shaped by hospitality, craftsmanship, and a new design direction for Allermuir. From refined details to complete workplace solutions, the showroom reflects how we create products with purpose, personality, and lasting quality,” commented Kylie Roth, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Allermuir.

About Allermuir
We believe great design starts with everyday life. We push boundaries by creating products inspired by real moments, the way we live, work, and move between the two. Inspired by the blurred lines between personal and professional spaces, our hybrid design approach focuses on people, not environments. Furniture should adapt to life, not the other way around. We collaborate with some of the most respected and visionary designers in the world, alongside our own in-house design studio. Together, these diverse creative voices come together to craft furniture that feels original, thoughtful, and beautifully resolved. Our approach is simple: we experiment, design, collaborate, and manufacture.
